What Auto Highlight Does
Auto Highlight analyzes your uploaded video or audio and marks key parts of the transcript.
These highlights can be used to:

Auto Highlight is available in the AI Video Editor and Audio to Video workflows.
Step 1: Upload Your Video or Audio
Start by uploading your media using the AI Video Editor or Audio to Video workflow. Pictory will:
• Process your file
• Transcribe the audio
• Open the Transcript Editor
Once the transcription is complete, you will see two tabs at the top of the editor.
Transcription Highlights
Click the Highlights tab.
Step 2: Open the Highlights Tab
Inside the Transcript Editor, select the Highlights tab. Pictory will display sentences and phrases that were automatically identified as important.
Each highlighted section represents a potential clip or moment worth keeping.
Step 3: Review Your Auto Highlights
Read through the highlighted sections. You can click any highlight to jump to that exact moment in the video preview.
This allows you to:
• Confirm which highlights you want to keep
• Remove any that are not useful
• Add new highlights manually if needed

Step 4: Add or Remove Highlights Manually
You can edit highlights to refine your selection.

• Select part of the transcript text
• Click highlight to mark it
To remove a highlight:
• Click the highlighted text
• Click unhighlight

Each highlight can be turned into an individual clip. Select a highlight, then click Create Video or Customize Video.
