The Challenge

Mahesh faced several challenges before using Pictory:

• Communicating complex project workflows to a huge audience.
  He was involved in a large government project with around 50 governmental stakeholders, and even after running workshops with ~100 attendees, he still needed to convey the full business process to many more people who didn’t attend.
• Manual, repetitive “explaining the same thing” over and over.
  Without a scalable format, he’d have to keep re-presenting and re-explaining the same workflows repeatedly to different stakeholder groups.

  Their materials included diagrams (BPM/workflow diagrams from tools like Lucid) and screenshots embedded in PPTs, but transforming that into clear training delivery for end-users would normally take extra production effort.

The Solution

Pictory solved Mahesh’s challenge by turning his existing PowerPoint workshops into clear, repeatable training and communication assets that could reach everyone who didn’t attend live. Instead of trying to re-run sessions or explain the same workflows again and again to dozens of stakeholders, he simply uploaded the full PPT into Pictory’s PPT-to-Video feature, added slide-by-slide voiceover direction, and quickly produced a video that delivered the message consistently every time.

This meant the wider government audience could understand complex business process workflows more easily, replay the content whenever needed, and get “just-in-time” guidance without relying on Mahesh to be present. He also highlighted how Pictory sped up production because it auto-generated a script from the slides, so he only had to edit for pauses or small changes—making it a far faster way to create short video user manuals that can be embedded directly into the application for ongoing training and adoption.

The Results

Mahesh reported that using Pictory made the whole process dramatically faster and easier: converting a PowerPoint into a narrated training video was “very, very quick,” and when they played the videos to stakeholders, people were able to understand the workflow process easily.

Because the videos can be replayed multiple times, he no longer has to repeat the same explanations again and again to different audiences, which is a major time-saver in a project with many stakeholders.

He also noted that Pictory automatically generates a script when the PPT is imported, so he only needs to make light edits—like adding pauses or small adjustments—making production quick and straightforward.
