What is an AI voice clone?
An AI voice clone is an AI-generated version of your voice, made from a short recorded sample. In Pictory it sits in your voice library and narrates any script automatically: write or paste the text, select your cloned voice, and it reads every scene in sync with the video.

How to clone your voice
To clone your voice, open the Audio tab in Pictory and click Create new under Voice clones. Record 1 to 2 minutes of your voice in the browser or upload a recording, review it, and give your consent. Pictory creates the clone and adds it to your voice library.

Listen back, then record your consent. It is required before a clone is made.
Select your cloned voice
Open any project. Your clone is in the voice list, beside the AI voices.
Narrate and download
Your voice reads every scene. Edit the text and it narrates again.
Recording tips
What makes a good voice clone sample?
A good voice clone sample is clean and sounds like you. Record in a quiet room with a good microphone, keep the same equipment throughout, and speak at your normal pace with natural pauses. Pictory needs 1 to 2 minutes of your voice to make the clone.

Creating a voice clone is free. Narrating with it uses the ElevenLabs minutes included in your plan. Voice clones are available on the Pro, Teams and Enterprise plans.
Your clone appears in your own voice library. Teammates see it when you share a project or a brand kit with them, and you can take that access back or delete the clone at any time.
