An AI narrator is a synthetic voice that reads your script aloud over a video, scene by scene. In Pictory you paste the script, pick a voice and it narrates the video it builds, with captions timed to the words. There is no recording session.

How it works
How to add an AI narrator to your video
To add an AI narrator to your video, write or paste your script in Pictory, then open the Audio tab and choose Voiceover. Pick a voice, preview it and set the speed. Click Apply voice and the narrator reads every scene, with captions timed to the words.

Write or paste it in the Story tab. Each scene’s text is what the narrator reads.

Open Audio, then Voiceover. Filter by language and accent and pick a voice.
Preview and set the speed
Play a scene in the voice. Move the speed slider from 1x until the pace fits.
Apply and download
Apply the voice to every scene, check the captions and download as MP4.

How to choose a narrator voice
To choose a narrator voice, filter the list by language and accent, then read the style tags on the premium voices, such as Confident, Deep or Narration. Preview a few on your own script, since a voice sounds different on your words. Then set the speed, which starts at 1x.
